Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

The Registration for the 2019 Pennsylvania State Conference in Pittsburgh is OPEN!  To register, please go to www.paaohn.nursingnetwork.com.  The date is March 13-14, 2019 at the DoubleTree in Monroeville.  We have a great line-up of speakers, including 3 speakers to discuss Active Shooter and Disaster Response.  In light of the Tree of Life attack in October in Pittsburgh these are very timely topics.

Also, the National Conference will be held in Jacksonville, Florida will be held April 8-10.  More information and registration can be found at http://aaohn.org/page/2019-national-conference.

A reminder that online voting to approve the bylaws change that would allow for the Optional Chapter Structure will open on January 4, 2019 and close on February 4, 2019.

We recommend that all members preview the proposed bylaws changes that can be found here:  http://aaohn.org/page/optional-chapter-structure.  The link includes a link for for proposed amendments as well as the rationale for the proposed changes.  There have been a number of national and regional conference calls where members have had the opportunity to listen to national leaders discuss these proposed changes as well as ask questions.  Now - in January, 2019 - is your opportunity to make your vote count.  All are strongly encouraged to review this information and make your voices known.

Thanks to all the members for your support in 2018.  We look forward to seeing all of you at various events around Pennsylvania.

Happy New Year!

Chad Rittle, President
