Position Description

Title: RN - ICU/PCU

Location: Central Pennsylvania (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Compensation

Pay Range:$39.20-$56.00/Hrs

Description

  • Provide professional nursing care to address life-threatening conditions.
  • Adhere to critical care standards as outlined by the American Association of Critical Care Nursing (AACN).
  • Assess patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Implement nursing measures and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Care for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric ages.
  • Recognize and respond to cardiac arrhythmias and emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Function effectively as a team member and liaison between patient and staff.
  • Support harmonious communication skills among team members.
  • Maintain professionalism in all forms of communication.
  • Exhibit mental and emotional resilience when dealing with patient care.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Pennsylvania.
  • Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current Healthcare Provider Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Current Healthcare Provider Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Completion of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
